This week we finished fitting all the kitchen cabinets including handles. On this particular project the client opted for a Halesworth Shaker style in shade Porcelain. Under cabinet lighting was also installed which gives the kitchen a brighter feel.
The new quartz worktops and upstands were fitted focusing on the island as this would double as an extra seating area with barstools to be added. The induction hob in the island is the NEF downdraft hob. This gives the kitchen a sleeker and more modern look as the downdraft hob doesn't require an overhead extractor fan.
Next, we moved onto laying the tiles for the entire ground floor of the property. The client chose Macael Blanco Polished Porcelain tiles in the size of 60 x 60 cms. After showing the client different tiling patterns they opted for our recommended design which entails a staggered bond every third tile. This is more predominant to see in the photos before the floor was grouted. The grout used for this project is Mapei Ultracolor Plus in Moon White which is a perfect match for the tile colour.
